Corn Dolly with Pyrite

A special keepsake to bring you peace and healing. handmade entirely out of corn husks.
 
Every part of the process is done by hand and takes weeks to complete. Over the months of July and August each year the corn is plucked and the husks are peeled back by hand. They then go through a sun drying process that takes three days, each day by hand they are stretched, combed and laid out once again for sun drying.
 
Once the sun dried process has been completed the husks are sorted by size and assembled into dolls. There is no glue or string used in the construction of these dolls it is done entirely by hand using only corn husks of different sizes.
